MORI-THE RABBIT HOLE
MORI remains an enigma, for he wants to be one. The architect of Vice City, a cyberspace with a dystopian edge, his amalgam of music is as unique as his ideas. The 21-year-old French producer has broken the mould to find his own, and forged it. This is his debut single, THE RABBIT HOLE-the one that takes you down a whole new journey. If the gates are being opened to you, you better marvel at the sight. MORI does exactly that with his synth inspired pop. The opening is soft, yet there is a build that will be incredible to listen to eventually. You can never see it coming, but that is how the tunnel has been designed. Vocals are soft, appealing and complement the brilliant synth work that becomes the main palette for the song. The mixing has made it important that the music is as innovative as the appealing vocals. Lyrics are the open invitation for this new music, something that teases a cyberpunk extreme that would have never been experienced by many musicians. His music is visual, yet unique. It creates the apt amount of buzz, along with his album art, to know what the music is about. It is tantalizing, refreshing and shows incredible promise for this young producer. MORI will be the next big thing from a new world. This song would be absolutely perfect in Blade Runner 2049 (2017) for the kind of edge it has. Listen to the track above and follow him for more!
