Rusty Reid- Corner of My Mind
3 h : 29 min

Rusty Reid is anything but rusty, gifted with his experience, he really knows how to churn out excellent verses. Like his latest release Corner Of My Mind, a soulful and nostalgic track. He, so naturally, brings in the 1970’s vibe into his alternative rock along with his country sensibilities with every track he writes. He perfectly captures the introspective and heartfelt tone of classic folk rock while incorporating a modern and unique sensibility.  The song begins with a gentle guitar and drum combo. It pushes you off into a lazy river ride of his wistful world. His voice is reminiscent of a Beatles texture that adds to the many types of nostalgia encapsulated within this song. “The minutes ticking round the clock. The chimes will soon start chiming. In everything in this old world. The trick is in the timing” he’s clearly speaking of a lost love, a topic so widely relatable, that’s bound to grab your attention hook, line and sinker. He shows off his storytelling abilities in this number. You can imagine the lights dim in the bar as he sings the song while you settle in with your memories as you hear the song.  Modern love, what started off as a successful news paper column made its way onto the screen and took the world by surprise. Episode one of season 2 was a favorite. The episode deals with lost love but not by choice. It deals with a woman who’s only connection to her late husband is his car. It doesn’t take away from the fact that she loves her new partner deeply while missing her late husband. “Corner of My Mind” would fit in beautifully into this episode, as it is similar in spirit.  Rusty Reid has brought to us his vivid imagery and we are all for it. If this song ever plays at a party, I'm sure you'd wish for the party to never stop. ANTi adds a little bit of spice in his vocals and it adds a little bit of desire that everyone looks for.  Close To You is one of those songs that could be used in a films incredibly well. But it would do especially well in Always Be My Maybe. The film has Keanu Reeves in it, need I say more? You can imagine Ali Wong’s character playing this in her head as she shook his hand. Attention attention! A vibrant Alt-pop anthem has entered the chat! Roll Over by Avi Kytes simmers and bursts with energy and the enthusiasm is contagious. With catchy hooks, pulsating beats and Kytes sultry and infectious vocals, the number is an instant mood lifter. Roll Over is Avi's first single that has been released. As the beats roll out of the song, the single gets you in your feet with its excellent wind instrument section.  The song begins with a percussion bit that immediately has your ears perked. The song springboards off of these percussion beats and the song pulsates with a rhythm that is hard to resist. The irresistible beats has you closing your eyes and surrendering to it and Avi’s vocals help you drift away into the journey that the song takes you on. It has to be mentioned that the production on this song is incredibly neatly done, every section is stitched together to perfection. So much so that the desire and tension between new lovers is delivered with an uplifting spirit. This makes it impossible to resist and to not relate. Leaving you with an undeniable urge to sing along and dance without inhibition. The danceability on this track is high with its bubbling percussion paired with the incredible wind instrument section. This very fact makes it the best song to be used in Work It. The film has an incredible playlist both for singing and dancing. Avi Kytes has done the world a favour by giving us a mood lifter. Ryan Yingst - Please Don't Burn The Sage
3 h : 54 min

Please Don’t Burn The Sage sets your senses on fire with an irresistible set of notes that's bound to get your heart grooving. Ryan Yingst picked up his guitar and checked off creating history off of his list with Please Don’t Burn The Sage. This latest release is a lovely rendition and dedication of love to his partner. He paints an adorable picture that leaves you yearning for this quality of tender love.  The instrumentals consist of just the guitar, making the performance feel like an intimate one. The song is about Ryan’s demand to not have his partner light the sage once he passes away. This is because he wants to be able to one day haunt their house together with his partner. While the song is just him and the guitar, the song is rich with technique. Therefore I tip my hat to the production team for peppering the song with this much detail. The thread of storytelling that runs seamlessly throughout the fabric of the song creates for a great tapestry of storytelling. The perfect film that would work beautifully with the song is Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Both the film and the song speaks of ghosts and girlfriends, Don’t Burn The Sage would work wonders in the film when he actually finds love. The song is one of a kind. It’s no wonder that Ryan Yingst already has over 30,000 plays on multiple songs. Let us support him the same way for this release as well, you can follow the link attached below.

Her entrance is chimed by a synthesised chord set that have you intrigued. Then we hear Jolene’s voice float in with swaggers in with her frosty cherry on the top voice. She gives off an “as cool as a cucumber” vibe throughout the song that has you hooked all along. The pulsating synth to the chime-like guitar and the smooth saxophone rendition will most definitely have you intrigued. What successfully sets Saturday Morning Blues is the ability to blend electro-pop with a warm and organic soundscape. The sophisticated production is what makes the song so catchy and accessible enough to be played on a normal Saturday morning in your living room. Saturday Morning Blues has this sense of longing for a moment to last forever, a similar emotion is seen in The Holiday. Martyn Scott - Bearable Through Love
3 h : 48 min

Martyn Scott dances the tango between genres with his latest release Bearable Through Love. He skirts around Alt-rock and Jazz with this one, already expanding his listener base. This also points toward an originality that is rare in the current music market. He summons incredible imagery with the twang of the electric guitar and paints vivid pictures through his vocals. The rock has you grooving and the jazz sweeps you off your feet.  Right from when the first chord strikes, Martin has you holding onto your seat. The soundscape can only be described as velvety as there is also a dual tone to it. The rhythm pulsates and shines with authenticity. He injects every word with so much personality, it is incomparable. The rainbow-studded song gives off a disco sunflower energy that might leave you wanting to run through a field of flowers. The instrumental in the track is continuously morphing and transforming, giving us an exciting and unpredictable soundscape. There is incredible nuance in the placement of each instrumental section as well. A round of applause for the top-notch production quality within the track. The universal quality has you relating so hard to the themes, making it the perfect addition to Virgin River’s playlist. The starry quality of the soundtrack can be used as a backdrop to so many scenes within this series. The vivid pictures painted by Martyn Scott has you hitting the replay and share button. He summons so many memories and gives rise to a plethora of thoughts. These are signs of a true artist.

Bunny Alex - Easy Game
2 h : 54 min

Bunny Alex comes cruizes in yet again with a charming new single- Easy Game that will play in the hearts of young love. She takes us down an emotional roller coaster in a surprisingly laid-back manner. She still manages to get all that flutter and butter that is within one heart as a new crush arrives.  The track has a cool choir-like tone at the start and it takes off into a steady graph, upwards. What the song captures like lightning in a bottle is the jittery feeling of love. All of it, the replying to messages and picking up calls and the fleeting eye contacts, everything! A wonderful parallel of the things Alex speaks about can be drawn with Viola from She’s The Man. The cult classic has left its mark in the film world and it is only logical that Easy Game will go down in history with the same power. The perfect addition to the film's playlist if you ask me.
