Robert Vendetta-Vacation
3 h : 12 min

Artists like Robert Vendetta have a way of putting every listener in a groove, With a growing catalogue and list of genres he has fallen in love with, you’ll feel like dancing, singing or moving along to all of his music. As a musician, he tests all grounds, and he makes sure what he puts is the best. This is his latest single, Vacation. If you name your song vacation, it better sound like one you’d play. This peppy, fun track takes the cake,  dropping a catchy rhythm. It sounds like The Beatles or Canyon musicians like Petty. There are instrumental pockets that show how technically proficient he is. Robert Vendetta also gets to show us how simple it is to write a song. Or how difficult it is to write a simple one. All the layers just come together like a band’s tone and sound should. The chorus is a fun, retro reach back. You’ll feel like you’re listening to The Beach Boys, and Brian Wilson is on the helm. It is a wonderful, heartwarming track with a danceable tune that you’ll feel like looping. The ballad bridge takes you to the fun chorus in no time.  I’d love to have this in a rom-com or comedy film, something like The Wrong Missy, Murder Mystery or something on those lines. You can listen to his 2021 album All By His Handsome Self and feel the power of simple songwriting. Listen to his singles and album and remember to follow him for more fun, joyous music like this!

Robert Vendetta-Here And Now
4 h : 11 min

Robert Vendetta is a man who truly loves exploring music. With a slew of popular tracks under his belt, he never stops at one thing. Each track flows into another theme or style that he executes with a signature sound that only he can design. This is his latest single, Here And Now.  For a second, the opening might remind you of Eric Clapton’s Pilgrim years. The infusion of electronic beats and a synth ripple in the background sets quite the tone. Piano introductions resonate wonderfully, creating the texture for the palette he is about to use. How it translates into a ballad, and just blends into the soundscape, is what masterful songwriting is about. Robert Vendetta is owning the moment, and he has a grasp of who he is and around. Raw and plain, his vocals can be heard without filter, approaching the lyrics like a present that he values. Slowly, you can feel the textures overlap, as they all come together.  Robert Vendetta uses a framework of a lot of love songs, to make one straight from his heart. It all begins with being and living in the moment. The orchestic crescendo will give you goosebumps, guaranteed.  My favourite track by Robert is Vacation, though all his songs bring a joyous, energetic vibe. His lyrics are purposeful and poetic, trying to keep the tone and texture of live instruments together while experimenting with newer depths. This song would be perfect in The Wedding Date (2005). There are some lovely sequences this song would support very well. Listen to his single and follow him for more like this!

Robert Vendetta-Fool
2 h : 54 min

Robert Vendetta reads the lines between music to make it all one big story. From the jolly indie rock anthems he has given us to the exciting run-downs and ballads, this musician is unpredictable, in every sense of the word. What he creates is an understanding between symphonies and emotion, all coming together like a cascade. This is his latest single, Fool. Very unlike his single Vacation, here he really banks on how he sees his thought process and actions. It is a love song, but honest and pure. No clichés and the sort, but organic and enveloping melodies that make you think of the 70s and 80s. You might feel like you’re in the middle of a Commodores song. His variation in melody and modulation is essentially pure, while having his own frills and rousing bridge moments.  Something that really stands out, especially in the verse section, is the bass line. It is something I’d like to commend Robert Vendetta for paying so much attention to, for it helps tie it all together. Listen to the rhythm section alone in this track again, and you’ll know why it becomes one of his timeless numbers. His albums like Headed Out of My League are collections which you won’t get from every indie artist. The amount of polishing and detail work that goes into his music is like a craftsman at his table. This song would be perfect in I Want You Back (2022). It is the kind of perfect tale where Robert Vendetta would bring particular frames justice with his melodic penchant. Listen to his single above and be sure to follow him for more like this!
