Ceyeo- Ecstacy
2 h : 42 min

Ceyeo released his new single- Ecstasy an eclectic mix of electric, disco and R&B. The Chicago-based artist is known for creating boundary-breaking music. While he has developed his own style of music, there is something distinctive about every single one of his tracks. Like in You Can’t hear me, we hear him play with rap and electric. In Ecstasy, we hear Ceyeo sing about Love and his ode to promises in their relationship. We don't see him play with hip-hop as much as he does in his other songs. In Ecsatcy Ceyeo successfully evokes colourful imagery with his beats. The skilful use of beats puts you directly on the dance floor. The disco is blended to perfection with modern-day EDM. Everything is heard distinctively within this song, from the drums to the guitar to the tambourine. The track has a very transient nature to it that keeps you on your toes throughout.  A movie that starts off quite positively and flips you on your head is Climax by Gaspar Noe who plays brilliantly with sound and Camera angles. The film follows a group of artists on the night of their last performance before a showing. You watch as a helpless spectator throughout as they make one bad decision after another. It speaks about all sorts of love- love for the art, the hustle, romantic love and even unrequited love. Much like Ecstacy which would work exceptionally as a soundtrack in this film. Ceyeo continues to deliver, with his distinctive music that enamours listeners. To see the wide variety of songs he creates check out his page attached below.

Perenna King - Alibi

There is a coolness that Perenna King locks in in her voice that is sheer brilliance, especially in her latest release, Alibi. The singer-songwriter paints a picture in each and every note in her music. Her music is avant-garde, a unique blend of genres – electric, metal and pop. She is fierce, unquestionably talented and unapologetic. Her music never lacks in conviction, and she wraps it neatly in her music! She is sure to take you on a journey that will refuse to leave your memory-scape. When Alibi begins, we hear the suspense give the song a character; it's snappy and subtle and makes way for the real deal, and that is Peranna herself. Not to mention that she comes in with a flirty playfulness that sets the song apart already. She strikes a great balance in her vocals, effortlessly charming us with her voice and delivery. The guitar strokes send an exciting wave of suspense and energy every time we hear them. Each note brings in colour and vibrancy that Peranna carefully curated in this number. The track is mixed and mastered to perfection, a carefully, meticulously curated number! The soundscape of the song carries an undeniable energy to not care what anyone else thinks. A song like this deserves to be in a series like Kevin Can F*** Himself. The series is a masterpiece; it plays with two extremely different styles of production – satire recorded in front of a live audience and horror. As both the song and the show address patriarchy in their own ways, they are each made for each other. Perenna King is a force of nature, she is someone who is sure take over the music space! Eylsia Nicolas - A Beautiful Mess
3 h : 4 min

Eylsia Nicolas has the energy to power an arena with her music, and her latest release, A Beautiful Mess, screams hit! Eylsia had been underneath the spotlight far before her music journey. Before she pivoted to being a singer-songwriter and producer, she was a tennis player and was the winner of the Irish Open at just 14. She made one more detour as a successful businesswoman before she came around to focusing on music full-time. She is now set to steal hearts with this latest number. Her music is largely pop and EDM. This one, however, is a song apart; it is a theatre of its own, and her exceptional voice brings in so much drama! The track packs a punch; she is unafraid and fierce in this number. Everything is at a ten in this number: the intensity, the background score and her vocals. Eylsia is dedicated and driven, and the number reflects it as well. The sonic storyteller has a grace to her voice that is incomparable. Her vocals are off the charts as she sings of how love makes a mess of her, but she enjoys the thrill of it all. She writes music with biting lyrics; it accurately depicts the state of one's mind when it's in love. It is a concoction of dedication and sheer madness. In Sex and the City Carrie has the same energy as this song, you know, a love that has sparks flying everywhere, and if you aren’t too careful, it can burn your whole world down.
