Dan Szyller-Summer Kiss
3 h : 58 min

Dan Szyller has some lucid dreaming to discuss through this music. A fan of all psychedelic music and then some, he has developed a sound of his own that is an entrance to another portal. This musician felt the best way to visit music was through a tale, and what a tale he has spun. This single is from his album The Celestial Immigrant. This is Summer Kiss. With his ability to craft images of surreal fantasy, Dan Szyller really likes to take you down the untraversed path. His single is also characteristic of his melody composition, a figment of The Doors. As you feel that you’ve been subjected to a retro blast, he changes the beat and groove for the chorus. It is underhanded, sly and makes for a very memorable moment in the song. This is art that has to be observed to be appreciated. A brilliant set of melodies bring an inspirational, hair-raising composition. The moment he transitions away from the chorus has to be heard to believe. It is as gutsy as jazz, and as approachable as your favourite classic rock single. You can see the Fripp salutes in the solo as well, including the tone.  This would be a great song in Dear John (2010). Apart from a sweet story, Dan Szyller would really make some transitions lovely and unforgettable with his single. His album is worth getting obsessed over, listen to his music and follow him for more that is sure to come!
