Wreckless Strangers remind me of the Travelling Wilburys. For those who don’t know, they were a supergroup by every definition of the word. The band we’re going to listen to now is a form of that, we just don’t appreciate it the same way. We take a listen to their dramatic and cinematic approach to classic rock. This is called Orange Sky Dream.
The artwork should show you what you want to see. It is a hot summer day, and all you need is the bluesy breeze of rock and what it can make you feel. Break the Line creates that same Tom Petty aura which you would be addicted to the moment it came on the radio. From the vocals to the instrumental pieces, it is the cool mug of beer that has the perfect foam head. You’ll be addicted to the chorus in no time.
If you’re able to get through the addictive song the opener is, you get to Roses of War. It is a beautiful and emotional song, sapping at your heart, with powerful, modulating vocals. A treat to listen to, the build to the chorus will bring you goosebumps in high degree. Harmonies come together like a church choir, preparing you for the resonating feeling of happiness for more than your bargain. Shudda Known is the garage rock vibe you’ve been seeking. It is a hard rock, blues infused jam that is the cold splash of water your face needs. It is exhilarating to enjoy and feel out, especially the tones.
In the styles of all that rocks
The dynamism that this band brings is no joke. You’ll feel like you’re going through their biggest hits list rather than an EP. Packed with some of the best grooves and sounds they could prepare, they thought about us for Christmas. We’re grateful for the gift, Wreckless Strangers. The band runs on fire with the bluegrass soul of Fast Girls. You have a compendium that you might not slate to any other band. Exciting, vocally engaging and instrumentally tight, this band is a gift box for every day.
The riff from Grace of God will be your battery pack for the week. It is a bona fide jam gem, and you don’t know the value of the treasure you have been handed. Wreckless Strangers create another whirlwind of a song, with the consequences being addiction to how fun the music turns out to be.
I feel these songs would be great in the movie Rushmore (1999). It is the culmination of a millenia, while transitioning to another, and no band can do it like them. Though the original features classics as well, this band can change the texture with their groovy and original music. Listen to their music with the links above!
