Diamonn is busy making her way through to every woman’s playlist ever with her vibrant new pop single- I Am (The Hype). The song has irresistibility in the very fabric of the song and boy does its tapestry flatter everybody out there. She expresses confidence and empowers us with a little bit of the same, rubbing off some of her rizz on her listeners as well.

The track is clearly an ode to women and the affirmation with a dash of spice and whole lot of celebration. The song begins softly with a bouncy beat that spreads its infectious energy as Diamonn makes her entry. She spills a dance energy that captures the essence of self-confidence. The way the song speaks of working hard and being the boss everywhere is very similar to the film What Men Want. The way this song would work for Tanaji P Henson’s character is truly immaculate. That said, its time to turn the volume up as you put your make-up on just so you remind yourself that you are in fact (in the words of our spotlit poet Diamonn) “That Bitch”.
