It has been barely 12 months since the release of Blurred, and To Hell With Tradition is back to announce the 4th full-length concept album in just as many years, thus continuously swimming against the current in a time when the whole music world is increasingly leaning towards creating and releasing isolated individual songs one after another.
Like not many others, To Hell With Tradition (aka Achim Hofmeyer) has a very keen sense for fusing profound philosophical and spiritual lyricism wrapped in metaphors and allegories with captivating tunes and up-tempo grooves to claim an intriguing territory right in the sweet spot between mainstream and indie.
It is never about what might sell or what might be expected out there. It is, in fact, about certain things that demand creation. Things that patiently yet tenaciously and indefatigably keep knocking on doors until their call is answered and eventually find their pathway into our reality.
