TMPP is based in YYC but writes songs in SCL and places in between.

The first album was released to absolute crickets in October of 2021, but has slowly built a following of fans which include mostly family, friends and people who scanned the QR code on a sticker placed in public bathrooms.

Our second album, What’s The Point? Did a fair bit better and we were even played on the radio, thank god for covering John Prine. It’s available on CD from the trunk of the car, watch for us in convenience store parking lots over the summer.

2023 has seen a number of new singles released and the release of 3 of 5 songs as part of an upcoming EP, our first collaboration, with Canadian novelist Geoff Moore. “I Got This” featuring the Kick Horns was our first release followed by the second, “I Love That Song“, a tango-based rocker with a perfect title to troll rock critics with. The third release is called “Grub Street“.

Although most of the instrumentation and vocals are performed by TMPP, we also work with many specialized session musicians including drummer Sterling Laws, percussionist Marcelo Effori and the Kick Horns. TMPP works with producer Darryll McFadyen of the clan McFadyen.
