Introducing The Buggs
The six-piece band based around Duesseldorf, NRW inspires music lovers & concertgoers with a unique mix of cheeky British-inspired pop music & charmful soul. At their core lies the holy trinity of guitar, drums and bass, encased in the sounds of organs, trumpets, saxophone & trombone. Playing in their current line-up since 2020, The Buggs played numerous concerts in Germany, Southern Europe & even China!
The Band released their full-length debut album in 2016, an EP in 2017 and is regularly releasing self-produced singles since 2019.
Being nominated for the popNRW-Award in the category “Best Newcomer” in 2018 & having toured with The Undertones, Stone Foundation, The Spitfires and bands alike, The Buggs held their own Duesseldorf Tour earlier this year & played four sold out shows over the course of five weeks. This summer the band is returning to support Stone Foundation on their anniversary tour through Germany & the Netherlands!

Sometimes, in moments of emotional turmoil, the best thing you can do is to write a song about it with your mates. ‘Colourful‘ was written last year in a very emotional phase for all of us and the recordings for the track felt like a healing meditation. We are very proud of the outcome and believe that you can hear that this one really comes from the bottom of our hearts!
