Everybody told him to quit… They said that he was better off picking a “normal” job, because a career in music would never pan out. They told him that he would never be an artist and that he should explore other options.
But he never listened…
Summi knew what he wanted… To share his music with as many people as he possibly could. No matter what obstacles were thrown at him. Summi always found a way to express himself musically. At the age of five, Summi began playing the family piano. By the time he started high school, Summi had already become very proficient at the drums, beginning to teach younger students the craft. This was also around the time that he began learning how to produce and record himself. Summi soon developed a deep passion for Hip-Hop. He wanted to break into the scene while still incorporating elements of live “indie” instrumentation. And that’s exactly what he did.Summi put out a handful of self-produced projects over the course of 3 years, ultimately landing him a job in Los Angeles. He started composing music for film and television under supervision of Format. Summi is currently a full time engineer and artist for the comapny.Summi doesnt wait around for anybody else. He’s a self-starter and an extremely hard worker. It’s been that way since day one. If one thing is for sure, Summi is here to stay.
