Intense blues rock from Austria
Slooga stands for intense blues rock made in Austria. The St. Pöltner Trio originally came from the Lower Austrian formation Electric Church, which was very successful from 2003 to 2009. In 2015, frontman and guitarist Mario Rudolf Sluga formed his new band Slooga, and in 2016 he released his self-produced debut album Burning Shoe. After some line-up experiments, Slooga have been presenting themselves as newborn since spring 2020. With Dominik Kraushofer (Brutecast) on bass and Florian Hartl (Buncha Rascals, Profact, Adrenaline Kings, The Gallows' Fellows) on drums, the power trio, whose aim is to combine classic blues with modern elements, is complete.
