Dortmund’s brandnew rock/punk trio NRY doesn´t care about fitting into any genre. They just want to play real good music; songs, transporting more than just punky anger. Songs, being more than just loud; songs having a wide spectrum of dynamics.

Of course you´ll find some punky anger, hammering beats, crying guitars, a humming bass and lyrics telling bitter-sweet stories about personal situations or society relevant themes as well. And there is the certainty, that there will be something more. More NRY.

The full length debut album „ON/OFF“, that’ll be released on October 20th, by NCR Records / DIY or DIE Records, is flanked by the two pre-released singles „Someday“ and „Love Of A Vampire“, songs between hope and self-destroyment and a clear political statement to the russian invasion into the Ukraine. Anyway, the album punshes right into ones face.

The influences of the two brothers Jens Kriegel (vocals, guitars) and Lars Kriegel (keys, bass, backings) and Chris Bröer (drums, synths) are so widely spread, that the number of bands and genres to mention here would be far to long and still incomplete. The Foo Fighters maybe would be one of those influences, just to mention one.
