From 1997 – 2003 Hifidriveby released three lps and three eps on S&L Records (as The Lovejoys), one ep on Broken Hill Records, and one lp for New Beat Records. They played big shows (Dismemberment Plan, Coheed and Cambria, The Woggles, The Huntington’s, Static, Bloody Hollies, Crooked Fingers) around the East Coast, got decent reviews, and some college radio airplay before calling it a day.
