Herald K is a Norwegian songsmith and singer based in Vienna, Austria. He is currently preparing 10 new songs under the title ‘Mythologies’. The first two of these, ‘Arethusa’ and ‘Wandering Aengus’. These were released in 2022, followed by a third, ‘Circe’, in early 2023.

In 2019 he debuted with the album ‘Strange Delights’ (Lindo Records). He was assisted by a cast of excellent instrumentalists from the Vienna scene. These included Stephan Steiner (Hotel Palindrone, Harlequin’s Glance) and Katie Kern. The resulting tracks have drawn comparisons with the styles of the likes of Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake. On the heels of the album release, Herald also gained the opportunity to work with cinematographer Leena Koppe (‘Die Vaterlosen’, ‘Der Boden unter den Füßen’) on a unique music video for his song ‘The Light Of Your Eyes’.
