Hazel Ray has been making music for as long as she can remember. As a child, she found her place amongst the melodies of her parents’ record collection, and the rest, as they say, is history. Her lyrics, written with purpose, are designed to reach those who need to hear them most. Providing her listeners a place to connect, and even a place to heal. In fact, it’s this serendipitous approach to music that allowed her first single ‘Find The Light‘ to be so successful. Classically trained, Hazel Ray, uses her extensive vocal range to welcome you into the music, layered over the top of beautifully haunting instrumental arrangements, her songs are as inclusive and her sound as accessible as possible.
It is rare to find such maturity in the early stages of a musician’s career, which is why she is currently working with well-known Producer Steve James (Screaming Jets) and Warwick Scott (Skunkhour) on her future projects.
