Based in Los Angeles, CA and hailing from Minneapolis, MN, “Frederick the First” is a multi-instrumentalist/producer/artist. Displaying his follies, wisdoms, life tragedies and comedies, his music contains a smattering of delicious vocal harmonies along with unique approaches to arrangement/composition leaving it hard to describe. Once labelled as a soupy goulash of D’Angelo meets the Talking Heads, Frederick the First figured that’s good enough for him. I also like writing my own bios in the third person.
