Her recent single Stain is the most personal to date. Based on an experience of going out in public for the first time after quarantine, she was quickly reminded of some people’s intolerance to difference, particularly regarding her birthmark. Stain begins, “When You Stare, Do You Know I’m Aware, Do You Think I Don’t Care?”
Her new single In the Rain dropped 6/30! Edie shares, “Please let me go. I love you. Wish I could trust you.”
“I wrote in the Rain one night during a loud LA storm. I was trying to sit with the hurt and calm down the pain after a fight with a loved one. After the argument I was trying to process the words, my responses, the fears projected onto me, the resentments and trying to sit with those feeling when it’s someone you truly care about. I was trying to understand the emotions and hoping the song could provide some healing down the road.”
The next single On Your Mind will hit 8/11!!
