The New York-based duo are here and ready to kick things up with their wide variety of sounds. The track is a unique blend of a lot of music worlds to create a genre of their own. I’m Not That Guy begins with an air of suspense. Then suddenly yet smoothly, we transition into funk pop/ techno. In this song, he (the vocalist) is trying to persuade his partner that that he isn’t like other boys. Right in the middle, there comes an interlude that allows the song to simmer just a little bit with the instrumentals. And then, bam! The track goes into this sunshine Daft Punk-like tone and elevates the track with a surprise. From here we take to the dance floor and let the disco ball lead the tune.
