You’re listening to a 90s dreamer when you listen to Salads. His sound is so well-rounded, you can’t pinpoint it to a particular genre. Salads brings the hip-hop autotune texture to pepper up the spice. Though the muted guitar is the percussion, the familiarity of an alt-rock song remains. Lyrics in sync and poetry in the fast lane, he connects the dots and gives us the skater rock beat eventually. The complex layering, unique vocal delivery and sound that he searches for is the gold. For example, his popular track Pink Bubblegum is a catapult back to the 80s for sound, but it very much is him. The emotions vary, a spectrum of change and styles will always entertain you. 

An underrated party film called Dope comes to mind listening to this track. You also get visuals of the stellar animated Spider-Man, and how well this would coordinate. RIP soundcloud salads is a superb album, with an assortment of unique songs. Fortunately, I heard this track on Soundcloud, so happy resurrection day. There is no one Salads.
