Pomaa Knows what’s up! The detailing that She has added to Wide Eyed is more precise than a gem cutter working on diamonds. Every aspect of this track is smoothed out to perfection. It’s just the right song to wrap up summer and let the slow chilly air embrace you. Pomaa feels like she is unafraid to take risks because this track is unlike anything I’ve heard before. If I were to place this in a genre, I would simply say- Pomaa. Everything about her music is so distinctly her, it’s amazing.

The track has sensibilities that will appeal to a wide range of listeners. It is a mixture of time.  While the song is a groovy pop number, there is a vintage touch. This is owed to the style of vocal backing here. There is a lot of symmetry in the track, the production has added just the right proportions of the echo-esque effect, enough for us to understand what she’s saying but also distant enough for her listeners to lean in. Masterful! 

The sheer versatility of the track helps it be placed in any series. But I think that it would work incredibly well in Derry Girls or even Sex Education. The perfect series for the perfect song.
