We’ve crossed the picketing line, and we don’t like what we see. Mick J Clark pens a raw and real appeal, through something he knows runs in his DNA. He doesn’t claim to know the answers, but there is a future if we try. This is his single, a cause for change. It’s called We Know It’s True.
When humans were in isolation, the Earth breathed a little. For 2 years, and in 2 years, we knew we should have trodden lighter. Respected nature. The boundaries we drew were drawn by nature long ago, and we didn’t learn. With an air of melancholy, for the sake of the next generation, Mick J Clark makes a plea. Not like a reporter, or scientist. As a musician. He believes that music has a way to change people, the course of action can be corrected. We need to come together, as a species, not just for posterity but for generations to come.
Change-the only way
With the visual of two beautiful kids staring into the distance, the album art and song makes a grim prospect come to light. His vocals change to more of concern, owing to the theme at hand. What he is suggesting isn’t a surprise. We always knew it to be true, and we know it now more than ever. This simple, elegantly executed song once again puts floodlights on what seems to be ignored. Visuals of movies like 2012, Don’t Look Up are vivid with this kind of song.
As an artist, Mick is prolific as a writer, singer and performer. He explores themes, executes them with brilliance, and is searching for more. Another Sunny Hulliday & his Christmas themed tracks are some of his best work, but with this artist, the best is yet to come. Listen to his track and follow him for more thought-provoking, soulful music. Let’s do more than try.
