David Baron is a Baroque synth pop songwriter, composer and producer from Woodstock London. When he’s not creating music for Here and Now (His production company) he is writing for others. A few of the known names are The Lumineers, Lenny Kravitz, Meghan Trainor, Shawn Mendes, Phoebe Bridgers and more! David finds sounds around him as inspiration when he writes his music. His music type is Pop classical music with a twist to classical instrumental song patterns. An example of his genius is Whispers which is a collaboration with Fiona Glenn. The song has such a Tim Burtonesque spin to it which has over 568,000 listens so far.

David Baroque released an album known as “Some Infinities are larger than others” which if we have to talk about, deserves an article of its own. In that article, I shall invent words to tell you just how beautiful the tracks are because the existing ones don’t do it justice.

As of now, we will be focusing on one such beautiful track- Stardust the first song on the album. A collaboration with the previously mentioned Fiona Glenn. We hear a gripping Piano bit in the beginning which is followed by Fiona’s gentle melancholic voice. The top notch production quality really amps up the gravity of love in this song. Words like “You and I will live in stars, between worlds we’ll always be.” brings out such a yearning that breaks your heart. The song has a very slow pop quality to its classical overtones. It has wonderfully written instrumentals that cascade and envelope you. 

A Space Opera of Romeo and Juliet would be a movie written in the stars for this song. Imagine we hear this song as Juliet breathes her last breath and dies in her Romeo’s arms. Really adds to the weight of the already heavy scene. Shakespeare in the park? More like Shakespeare in Space, hopefully directed by Tim Burton!
